  • Note to Our Readers

The Summer 2021 issue of the American Annals of the Deaf was conceived as a special issue focused on the teaching of mathematics in deaf education. The special issue editors, Claudia M. Pagliaro and Jennifer S. Thom, solicited the articles on that assumption and worked with their authors to develop the issue. However, two additional articles and a book review were also included. They were not selected by Drs. Pagliaro and Thom and were unrelated to the theme of the issue. The special issue as originally intended is made available here in digital format through Project MUSE and shared on the Gallaudet University Press website. This issue will be open access until the end of September 2022. AAD regrets the error.
