Abstract:
The central image of this poem is a spray of wildflowers in a garden, rendered unusually stark-looking by overcast weather. In the coastal suburbs of Dublin during lockdown last Spring, I wanted to explore the juxtaposition between disaster and calm, investigating how we navigate our anxiety and our resilience through interaction with natural landscapes.
