Abstract:
Lisa Jackson-Schebetta's book considers Spain as an idea and an imaginary that circulated through theatre, radio, and images of war in the 1930s in ways that scrambled the codes of coloniality/modernity in the Americas. Traveller, There Is No Road will be of interest for those teaching US theatre from transatlantic and hemispheric perspectives.
