Abstract:
Gerald Williams writes about his youth as a black man in Paris, characterizing the city by the people he interacts with, equally believable and unbelievable. Coupled with the constantly moving narrative is an undercurrent of how to exist in Paris as a black American expat, along with a pressing need to write anything.
