Abstract

Abstract:

Biocultural Creatures makes an important contribution to political theory and political science by demonstrating how empirical advances in biology challenge canonical social-environment explanations of human behavior. After reviewing these contributions, I discuss how recent advances in the study of the human mind refine and extend the implications that Frost draws. I conclude by underlining some minor quibbles that I take with some of the epistemological and normative claims that Frost advances and conclude with a call for more interdisciplinary research between humanists and positivists.
