Contributors MARC A. ROTH, who is Assistant Professor of Dramatic Art at the University of California, Berkeley, is the author of an article, “Strindberg’s Historical Role-Players,” which will appear in the Fall issue of Scandinavica, and is currently at work on a book on historical drama. He recently directed a production of Slawamir Mrozek’s Out at Sea. ENOCH BRATER, an Associate Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, has published widely in the areas of modem and contem­ porary drama. He has recently been appointed editor of the Michigan Academician. MICHAEL E. MOONEY is currently teaching in the Depart­ ment of Humanities at Arizona State University. He has previously published in the Journal of Beckett Studies, and has articles forthcoming in Studies in English Literature and Southern Folklore Quarterly. PETER HOLLAND is Fellow and Director of Studies in Eng­ lish at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He is the author of The Ornament of Action: Text and Performance in Restoration Comedy, and currently is working on a study of the boys’ companies from 1598-1613. CECILE WILLIAMSON CARY has previously published in the Huntington Library Quarterly, Studies in Medieval Cul­ ture, and the EDAM Newsletter.
