Instructional, feedback, and awareness strategies were incorporated in a faculty development program designed to improve student achievement in an introductory mathematics course. The program was evaluated using student scores on a common final examination that was uniformly graded in committee. The results show “large” treatment effects and suggest that the program successfully achieved its objectives.
