Based on a survey examining the correlation of engaging in research and level of community college faculty in the Province of Ontario, this paper reports wide faculty involvement and formal institutional support for research. Faculty engaged in scholarly research usually want to do more. There was no relationship, however, between research activity and satisfaction with teaching.
