In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

postmodernistic streamsof thought in the early eighties. But it could also be treated as a farewell to some illusionswe had believed in before. Perhaps one ought to give up the illusion of a full system, of a universal method that might be used to solve the most important problems, if not all of them altogether. Perhaps we ought to give up an aim which was to determine the means and accept incompleteness , incoherence, unascertainability . In the early seventiesI believed in the possibilityof discoveringa method that would have led my artis tic thought along a linear trail. It would have had then a starting point, its own rules of evolution and an aim. The methods I use today are partial, often contradictory, and they lack a clearlydefined aim. But I do not avoid these difficultiesby taking shelter in the faith in the power of emotions , spontaneityor irrationality. And this iswhy I have become so closely interested in deconstructivism which accepts "empiricalerring" but stronglystresses "the vigilant activity of thought" (J.Derrida).
