Jeffery P. Aper earned a Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is provost at Blackburn College. He has published/presented more than sixty articles and papers and is co-author of a book on higher education. He is interested in measurement and evidence in educational research, assessment, and evaluation.

Melanie B. Butler is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Mount St. Mary’s University. She is involved in teacher education and service-learning projects for students at many different levels. Her primary research area is technology in mathematics education.

Matthew Feldmann earned a Ph.D. in higher education from Iowa State University. For four years he served as a director of institutional research at both Blackburn College and Fontbonne University. He is currently president of his company, Goshen Education Consulting. He specializes in educational funded project evaluation and research.

Scott M. Fuess Jr. is a professor of economics and department chair at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He is also a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn, Germany.

Michael E. Mays, Eberly Professor for Outstanding Teaching at West Virginia University, has served as president of the West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics and received its Distinguished Service Award and College Teaching Award. He is a member of the Institute for Math Learning and is currently its director.

Sam T. Meredith earned a Ph.D. in political science from Indiana University– Bloomington and teaches political science and leadership at Blackburn College. He has developed a program linking academic study with leadership experience in the college’s student-managed work program. Anthony S. Pyzdrowski, professor in the Mathematics, Information Systems, and Computer Science Department at California University of Pennsylvania, is the chair of the Computer Science Curriculum Committee and coordinator of abet accreditation for the Computer Science Program. He teaches classes in computer science, electrical engineering technology, and computing engineering technology.

Laura J. Pyzdrowski is an associate professor in the Mathematics Department and pre-collegiate mathematics coordinator at West Virginia University. She has been a member of the Institute for Math Learning since its establishment in 1999 and coordinates the wveb Mathematics Project. Her primary research area is technology in mathematics education.

Vennessa L. Walker is an assistant professor at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she serves as the assessment coordinator for the Psychology Department.
