Rhonda Batchelor se ha desempeñado como escritora, editora, y vendedora de libros y consultora desde 1977. Desde 1990 hasta 1997, ella y su esposo Charles Lillard operan Reference West, una pequeña casa editorial que ha editado más de cien librillos de coplas y cuentos procedentes de los más destacados escritores canadienses. Sus libros incluyen Bearings, Interpreting Silence y Weather Report. Su obra poética, de ficción y ensayística ha sido editada en varias revistas literarias y antologías. En la actualidad Batchelor es editora asistente de The Malahat Review.
Rhonda Batchelor has worked as a writer, editor, publisher, bookseller and consultant, since 1977. From 1990 to 1997 she and her husband Charles Lillard operated Reference West, a small literary press publishing over 100 chapbooks of poetry and short fiction by some of Canada's finest writers. Her own books include Bearings, Interpreting Silence and Weather Report. Her poetry, fiction, reviews and essays have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. She is currently the Assistant Editor of The Malahat Review.
Martha Kosir-Widenbauer nació en los EEUU y se crió en Eslovenia. Después de recibirse de la escuela secundaria regresó a los EEUU, graduándose con un título universitario en castellano y alemán de Duquesne University (1994), con una licenciatura en castellano y literatura comparada de la University of Notre Dame (1996), y con un doctorado en literatura hispánica de Vanderbilt University (2004). En la actualidad se desempeña como profesora de castellano en Kentucky Weleyan College. Ha realizado numerosas traducciones de poesía del esloveno, alemán, e inglés al castellano, y ha sido miembro del comité asesor de esta revista desde sus inicios.
Martha Kosir-Widenbauer was born in the US and grew up in Slovenia. After graduating from high school, she moved back to the US and completed her university studies there, earning a BA in Spanish and German from Duquesne University (1994), an MA in Spanish and Comparative literature from the University of Notre Dame (1996) and a PhD in Hispanic Literature from Vanderbilt University (2004). Currently a professor of Spanish at Kentucky Wesleyan College, she has done numerous poetry translations from Slovenian, German, and English into Spanish, and has been a member of the advisory board of this journal since its inception.
