52 Serendipity, we had it. We weren’t looking and there it was. The river snuck up on us. The river was always paddling. We were glad to see each other, so glad we lost the canoe. That didn’t make a bit of difference to us because we were making love. After that, we were eating squirrel. We wanted the birds to give us something. They gave us a load of crap. We had to laugh about it. We had to dig in our bellies and get our laughs. Then, we listened for the raccoons to shriek. Then, we remembered The Woods, silently. It brushed my shoulder once when I bent to loose my shoe. It’s kind of funny what we did out there with the fire in our eyes. We called putting our arms around each other canoodling. When we were bored, we dressed like fish. When we tired, we washed up on the banks. We had to laugh about it. We had to keep thinking of all the other places we could try and not find.
