About the Authors Sherrie Reynolds is a Professor of Educational Psychology at Texas Christian University. Her research interests include learning, change, the new science, and social justice issues, including gender. She has numerous publications, including the book Learning is a Verb: The Psychology of Teaching and Learning and the chapter “Patterns that Connect: A Recursive Epistemology” in William C. Doll Jr., M. Jayne Fleener, Donna Trueit, and John St. Julien's book Chaos, Complexity, Curriculum, and Culture. Toni Craven is the I. Wiley and Elizabeth M. Briscoe Chair and Professor of Hebrew Bible at Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University. She is a member of the Catholic Biblical Association and the Society of Biblical Literature. Her research interests include gender issues and rhetorical/literary study, as well as teaching and learning.
