Frank J. Williams, the author or editor of more than fourteen books, is the retired chief justice of the Supreme Court of Rhode Island. He and his wife, Virginia, have amassed a private library and archive that ranks among the nation’s largest collections. Williams is the founding chair of the Lincoln Forum and a board member of the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Foundation. He is currently at work on an annotated bibliography of all the Lincoln titles published since 1865. Williams also serves as literary editor of the Lincoln Herald, where his Lincolniana appears. ...
