CRAIG HAVIGHURST is an independent writer and producer based in Nashville. A former music critic and business writer for the Tennessean, he now reports for public radio and writes for print and television. As a freelancer, Havighurst has contributed to the Oxford American, Entertainment Weekly, the Wall Street Journal, Acoustic Guitar, No Depression, and numerous other national publications. His short documentary on the history of WSM radio for Nashville Public Television won a regional Emmy Award. In addition, he was the recipient of the 2004 Charlie Lamb Award for Excellence in Country Music Journalism.
