Kareem Tayyar’s most recent book, The Prince of Orange County (Pelekinesis), received the Eric Hoffer Award for Best Young Adult Novel, and he is a recipient of a 2019 Wurlitzer Poetry Fellowship. A professor of English at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California, he holds a PhD from the University of California Riverside.
