Abstract:
In South Korea, a coalition has been fighting to revise policies related to unwed motherhood and international adoption. This essay examines the ways that a shared “radical imagination” created a growing solidarity movement between Korean adoptees and unwed mothers that led to both legislative changes and transformative relationships among participants.
