Following are the full texts of the addresses delivered by David Ben Gurion, prime minister of Israel, and Jacob Blaustein, president of the American Jewish Committee, on the subject of the relationship of American Jews to the state of Israel. This exchange of views took place at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on August 23, 1950, at an official luncheon tendered by the prime minister in honor of Mr. Blaustein during the latter's visit to Israel at the invitation of the government of Israel.
