Return to the Nile: Tales of Migration

This devised play is based on a research initiative between Brock University undergraduate students and members of the local St. Catharines immigrant and refugee community. The purpose was to explore how members of this community wish for their narratives of migration and experiences of settlement to be represented in community-based performances. The result of the collaboration was a mutual appreciation between performers and participants and a curiosity and further recognition by the performers of their own immigrant heritage.
