2018 Dissertation Essay Contest Winner

The winner of the 2018 Dissertation Essay Contest, sponsored by the Philosophy Education Society, the publisher of The Review of Metaphysics, is Derek Duplessie. Dr. Duplessie was chosen for his entry, "Socrates' Analysis of Comedy in Plato's Philebus," drawn from the dissertation he wrote under the direction of Professor Ronna Burger at Tulane University.
