Abstract:
"Leaving Red Rocks": Following relocation from a pastoral to an urban setting, the speaker works to escape her attachments. "Letters From the Farm": Observing parallel tragedies between her two homes, the speaker writes a series of letters to a past loved one, reflecting upon the weight of grief in various forms, lamenting the distance between Then and Now.
