A Note of Gratitude to Our Peer Reviewers

It has been seven years since the launch of Change Over Time with our inaugural issue on 'Repair' in Spring 2011. The idea for the journal began with a perceived need and a desire to promote interdisciplinary critical discourse on contemporary issues of conservation of the built environment. From the outset, we envisioned a forum for dialogue between scholars and practicing professionals from both within the field and across disciplines. We explicitly privileged a diversity of perspectives in the interest of enriching debate, challenging normative assumptions, and ultimately in cultivating a relevant twenty-first century practice. To this end we owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to not only our contributors—authors, artists, and Guest Editors alike—who have all received public recognition, but of equal importance are our Peer Reviewers who have generously dedicated their time and professional expertise. Our Peer Reviewers are instrumental in cultivating the kind of rigorous scholarly and professional discourse Change Over Time aims to promote. Our success today is in great part due to them.
