  • Editor's Note
  • Editor, the Emily Dickinson Journal

I am struck by the sheer variety of approaches to Dickinson's poetry taken by the authors writing for this particular issue of the Emily Dickinson Journal. To me, this diversity indicates that the field of Dickinson studies is alive and well.

Emily Dickinson continues to be a figure of interest both in scholarly studies and in popular culture. Yet there is more room at the table for still other voices, other perspectives. I encourage readers of the EDJ to let us know if you have been working on a project that might be appropriate for future issues. You may submit your work either through the EDIS website, or directly to me. I would be happy to hear from you. [End Page vii]
