Theatre Journal congratulates Derek Miller, who received an honorable mention from ATHE for the Outstanding Article Award for his essay “Average Broadway,” published in the December 2016 issue of Theatre Journal (vol. 68, no. 4, pp. 529–53). The essay appeared in the special issue on “Theatre, the Digital, and the Analysis and Documentation of Performance,” edited by Joanne Tompkins.
