jason ahlenius is a graduate student of Spanish literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. His research focuses on hemispheric American studies, Latin American subaltern studies, and Mexican travel literature.
joão paulo guimarães has a ba and an ma from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and is currently an English PhD candidate at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In his work he explores the way contemporary American avant-garde poets reimagine the Romantic concept of a living poetic form.
david tagnani lives in Spokane, Washington, with his wife and sons. His scholarly research seeks to uncover the influence of the material world in altered states of consciousness as recorded in literature.
