The author presents a personal software program that enables artists to create environments through various methods, some of which, such as perspective, are traditional. Other uses of this program are new, such as the projection of an environment onto a sphere that, with subsequent transformation, becomes a ‘planisphere’ of various shapes. This software allows a range of results—from a world viewed with a narrow field angle (as through a telephoto lens) to a vision of a total environment.
