Reading Contemporary Women Playwrights: A Conversation, a Review, Some Revelations

This is a conversational review of a new anthology of critical writing on contemporary women’s plays. Three Toronto-based artists discuss the use and relevance of the volume for artists, teachers, and academics, touching on topics of appropriation, intercultural interpretation, the challenges of getting women’s theatre done, and the exciting wealth of women’s work that is being produced worldwide.
