Puppet, actor, director, and producer of Seven Easy Puppet Pieces, a video performance project executed by his “Marina Abramović Institute Department of Puppets.” In conversation with Noam DePloom*, Percival reflects on the current state of performance art in light of practices of re-performance, his career spent exploring the limits of the puppetbody, and being the target of recent artist-on-artist litigation.
