Cixous's Portrait de Dora, or Cooking the Books of Psychoanalysis

This article examines the subversion of codes of literary and sexual classification in Cixous's Portrait de Dora and argues that the play seeks to offer, through the inscription of playfulness, a feminine voice to and a feminine version of Freud's cornerstone psychoanalytical text.
