Her main publications are Shelley and the Sublime, Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Victorian Women Poets: Writing Against the Heart. She is currendy writing a book on Women Aesthetes. LYNN MacKAY is currently completing a manuscript tided The Value of Virtue, which explores die aspirations and priorities of, and die constraints facing the London poor in making ends meet c. 1780-1820. MELINDA MAUNSELL is a graduate student at die University of Victoria. SALLY MITCHELL is Professor of English and Women's Studies at Temple University, Philadelphia, and a former president of die Research Society for Victorian Periodicals. Her most recent book is Daily Life in Victorian England (Greenwood, 1996). She is now doing research towards a biography of Frances Power Cobbe.
