EDITOR'S LETTER I am happy to report that we now have a fully constituted Editorial Board. The members who have agreed to serve, along with their areas of coverage, are: O.M. Brack, Jr., Arizona State University (Pre-Modern British Literature); Lois Marchino, University of Texas at El Paso (Modern British Literature): Hamlin Hall, University of New Mexico (American Literature); Ronald W. Tobin, University of California at Santa Barbara (French Literature); Ester Zago, University of Colorado (Italian Literature); Ralph Nicolai, University Literature); and Raymund Paredes, University of California at Los Angeles (Ethnic and Minority Literatures). The Review continues to have a deficient backlog of articles, and the planning of future numbers would improve if we had a larger pool of essays to draw from. I have asked the Editorial Board to encourage scholars to submit to the Review, and the membership at large can contribute to improving the quality of the journal by encouraging colleagues to submit their work for consideration. The journal, of course, remains committed to publishing only research of the highest quality, and I have begun to submit manuscripts to scholars around the country for evaluation. ...
