VITAE THOMAS R. LYONS is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Colorado and has been Director of the Medieval Studies program there. A member of the Medieval Academy, he has published a "Medieval Book List." ALLAN DAVID FRANKLIN is Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Colorado. He publishes regularly in Physics Review and American Journal of Physics. JAMES P. GILROY is Assistant Professor of French at the University of Denver. He was an NDEA Fellow at Princeton Universty, where he wrote his dissertation on "The Abbé Prévost in Nineteenth-Century France." S. J. SACKETT is Professor of English at Fort Hays Kansas State College. He has been executive secretary of the Lambda Iota Tau honor society. His publications include E.W. Howe (Twayne United States Authors Series), Cowboys and the Songs They Sang (Addison-Wesley), English Literary Criticism, 1726-1750 (Fort Hays Kansas State College), and an edition of The Voyages of Mr. Job Vinegar by Henry Fielding (Augustan Reprint Society). ROBERT E. MORSEBERGER is Professor of English at Calfornia State Polytechnic University, Pomona, during the academic year, and in summers works as seasonal ranger/historian with the National Park Service. In 1964-66, he was a member of the Michigan State/USAID advisory team to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His publications include James Thurber (Twayne United States Authors Series), How to Improve Your Verbal Skills and Commonsense Grammar and Style (T.Y.
