SUMMIT LAKE When snow melts, green mountains slope to the cabin's door. I reach for my pole, its lures like sparkling ornaments and mosquitoes droning a distant highway, hike down to shore. Dragonflies, small black kites, hover above the boat. I drift wherever slow currents take me. Firs part at the bow, slide together under stern. I drop hook and worm, settle back, wait for the pull.
