Kyle S. Barnett is Assistant Professor of Media Studies in the School of Communication at Bellarmine University. His work on media industries and music culture has appeared in the Journal of Popular Music Studies and Music, Sound, and the Moving Image.

Kathryn Fuller-Seeley is Professor in the Department of Communication at Georgia State University. Most recently, she has edited Hollywood in the Neighborhood: Historical Case Studies of Local Moviegoing (University of California Press, 2008).

Paul J. Torre is Assistant Professor in Media Industries at the College of Mass Communication and Media Arts at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. His work on media industries and global media distribution has appeared in The Journal of Television and New Media and in Global Television Formats, forthcoming from Routledge Press.

Justin Wyatt is Executive Director, Research at Comcast Entertainment Group. He is the author of High Concept: Movies and Marketing in Hollywood (University of Texas Press, 1994) and coeditor of Contemporary American Independent Film: From the Margins to the Mainstream (Routledge, 2004). Wyatt holds a PhD in Film and Television Studies from the University of California–Los Angeles and a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia.

Zhang Zhen is Associate Professor in Cinema Studies at New York University.
