The Natural Death of North Korean Stalinism

The last fifteen years have seen the gradual wearing away of the North Korean Stalinist system. This development is not only making North Korea more predictable but is also paving the way for democratic transition to occur in the future. These developments should thus be encouraged by the West, and all types of cultural and academic exchanges with North Korea should be supported in order to expose more North Koreans to the outside world.
