Logan-Story Correspondence (1724-1741) Preface Friends' Historical Association is glad to present another piece of editorial work by Doctor Norman Penney. Publication of the Logan-Story letters has been in view for some years, awaiting the hand of a competent editor. The task would have been laid upon Doctor Penney sooner had he not been engaged, at the behest of this Association, upon the arduous editorial labors connected with The Short Journal and Itinerary Journals of George Fox. With the publication of that important work, in 1925, the way opened for this deferred task. Readers will readily understand why the Directors of Friends' Historical Association decided to devote a complete and enlarged number of the Bulletin to these Logan-Story letters. They constitute the most important single number of this publication yet put forth.
