Abstract

This paper describes a model of English instruction involving the ongoing collaboration of speech and English instructors. The model, which was put to practice, integrates instruction in writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills in the context of overall English competence. The paper includes a rationale for this approach and a description of instructional techniques.
