Editors' Note

Special Issues

This special double issue of the Journal of the History of Sexuality is devoted to various aspects of "Sexuality and German Fascism." We are deeply grateful to Professor Dagmar Herzog of Michigan State University, who has served as Guest Editor, for securing a set of distinguished and often provocative studies from European as well as American scholars. Because of the larger number of articles in this issue, we have deferred publication of reviews of books to the remaining two issues of volume 11. In 2003 we plan to publish an additional special issue on "Sexuality and Politics since 1945," and we welcome suggestions for other topics that might warrant special issues of this journal.

Professional Conferences

The 6th Congress of the European Federation of Sexology will meet at the Hawaii Grand Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus, from June 16 through June 20, 2002. Information about the meeting is available at the following website: <http://www.ortra.com/sexology>.

The next meeting of the European Social Science History Conference will be hosted by Humboldt University and will take place in Berlin from March 24 to March 27, 2004.

Notice of Erratum

Several words were accidentally deleted from the first sentence of the second paragraph of Richard C. Trexler's review of Pete Sigal's book From Moon Goddesses to Virgins (JHS 10, nos. 3-4 [2001]: 584-86). The sentence should have read as follows: "The book is divided into ten chapters, the first two of which furnish an introduction to terms, concepts, and historiography and provide an overview of the interpenetration of colonized religion and family in this society." We apologize for the error.
