Ari Ackerman is a lecturer in educational philosophy and Jewish thought at Machon Schecter in Jerusalem.

Arnold Eisen is Koshland Professor of Jewish Culture and Religion at Stanford University. He is the author, most recently, of Rethinking Modern Judaism: Ritual, Commandment, Community (1998); and (with Steven M. Cohen) of The Jew Within: Self, Family, and Community in America (2000).

Norma Baumel Joseph is Associate Professor in the Department of Religion at Concordia University and Director of the Women and Religion Specialization. Her teaching and research areas include women and Judaism, Jewish law and ethics, and women and religion.
