Daniel Nelson is professor emeritus of history at the University of Akron. His most recent book is Shifting Fortunes: The Rise and Decline of American Labor (1977). He is working on a study of environmental activism in Alaska.
James McGrath Morris is a member of the Social Studies Department of West Springfield High School in Fairfax, Virginia. He is most recently the author of Jailhouse Journalism: The Fourth Estate Behind Bars (McFarland & Co., 1988).
Taylor Hollander received his Ph.D. in twentieth-century U.S. history from Binghamton University. He has taught at Virginia State University and Virginia Commonwealth University. He is currently a member of the faculty at Orchard House School in Richmond, Virginia.
