Karyotypes are depicted for each of the 18 species (16 genera) using a uniform scale.
Details of the lengths of the long and short chromosome arms, total length, relative length,
arm ratio and chromosome form are also presented. Among the economically useful species
examined were groundnuts, Trifolium repens, peas, soyabeans and Vigna angularis.
