This series confirmed the viewpoint that freezing is a preferable method of holding human
milk if vitamin A retention is desired. It also indicated that the Boston milk specimens in this
test were about the equivalent in Vitamin A potency to the 3.5 per cent butter fat, Grade A
market milk as delivered in New York City, and certainly not superior to that in A
content.(Table I.)
