[BOOK][B] Italy, a poem

S Rogers - 1848 - books.google.com
IN this Poem the Author has endeavoured to describe his Journey through a beautiful
country; and it may not perhaps be uninteresting to those who have learnt to live in Past

examined for what they reveal about Renaissance attitudes to portraiture. 1 Literary
historians have been equally dismissive: Colasanti, for example, in his fundamental article
on Renaissance poems on works of art, condemns the writers for their lack of sincerity and …

Archaeal diversity and geochemical energy yields in a geothermal well on Vulcano Island, Italy

KL Rogers, JP Amend - Geobiology, 2005 - Wiley Online Library
The archaeal diversity in a shallow geothermal well on Vulcano Island, Italy was
characterized using culture‐independent 16S rDNA sequence analysis. Environmental DNA
was extracted from 56° C well water, and the 16S ribosomal RNA gene was amplified with
archaea‐specific primers. Restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis of∼
250 clones revealed 35 unique patterns, which were sequenced and analyzed. These
yielded 17 operational taxonomic units, of which 13, 3, and 1 were unique cren‐, eury‐, and …
