This paper responds to Deleuze’s call for a new Meno. Meno is one of the Platonic dialogues in which Socrates asserts that learning is recollection. The profound difference that distinguishes Deleuze’s new Meno from Plato’s is that, for the former, learning is oriented toward the future, not the past.
