In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

  • From the Interim Editors
  • Diane Wenger and John Hepp

It has been our pleasure and privilege to serve as interim editors of Pennsylvania History since January, but the time has come to hand our editorial pens over to a new team. This is our last issue as editors. We are pleased to announce the return of Bill Pencak as editor, with Patrick Spero and Laura Keenan-Spero jointly taking on associate editor duties.

We have had a great time and learned quite a lot in the brief time we edited Pennsylvania History. We have appreciated working with book review editor Dan Barr, the talented historians who have submitted articles, Editorial Board members, outside reviewers, and of course Julie Shippee and the rest of the staff at Pennsylvania State University Press. As we say good-bye, we note with regret and much thanks that, effective May 1, Dan Barr has resigned from his editorial duties, which he has capably handled since 2008.

Good luck to the new team; we know we are leaving the journal in excellent hands. [End Page i]
