  • About the Artist

Hye Woo Shin is a doctoral student at the Molecular Phylogenetics Laboratory at the Institute of Life Sciences and Biotechnology at Korea University, in Seoul. For her botanical art, she was awarded Best Exhibit at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Botanical Art Show in 2013 and again in 2014. In 2015, she won the top prize at the Gardening Scotland Festival, in Edinburgh.
