Matthew Casey will begin a job as Assistant Professor of History at the University of Southern Mississippi in August 2012. He is currently writing a social and labor history of Haitian immigrant workers in early 20th century Cuba.

Reade Davis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Memorial University. He works primarily in the fields of political ecology, science and technology studies, and environmental governance, with a particular focus on fisheries, aquaculture, and other coastal and marine industries.

Aya Fujiwara completed her Ph.D. at the University of Alberta in 2007 and an L.R. Wilson Postdoctoral Fellowship at McMaster University in 2011. Her field of interest is ethnic and immigration history of Canada.

Gaetan Heroux is an anti-poverty activist with the Ontario Coaliton Against Poverty who has worked in East Downtown Toronto for over 25 years. He is currently a Bousfield Distinguished Visitor in Planning at the University of Toronto.

Kurt Korneski is an Assistant Professor of history at Memorial University. His current research includes the history of nationalism and identity in British settler states, and the history of socio-ecological change in the fisheries in northeastern North American in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Bryan D. Palmer is a Canada Research Chair at Trent University, where he teaches in the Canadian Studies and History departments. His most recent book is Canada’s 1960s: The Ironies of Identity in a Rebellious Era.

Laurel Sefton MacDowell is a professor of history at University of Toronto Mississauga, author of ‘Remember Kirkland Lake:’ The Gold Miners’ Strike, 1941–42 and Renegade Lawyer: The Life of J.L. Cohen, and co-ordinator of the Nuclear International Research Group.
