The past cries itself out my eyes despite sun prodding pansies into lion face

Loneliness finds me in evening herds me window to window to wine

which pours me, guzzles my organs

Yesterday thinks me, tomorrow makes wishes unto itself then has me, stills my ribs

Thoughts hand me tied along them until one I make tears me out of holding

lifts me newborn in the air & newness moistens my nose
