Michael Les Benedict, associate professor of history at Ohio State University, is the author of several books and articles on Reconstruction. Jane A. Benson, assistant professor of library administration at Kent State University, is presently at the University of Michigan on an Advanced Study Fellowship from The Council on Library Resources. Correction: In this column in the September, 1977 issue, Matthew O'Brien was listed as an assistant professor of English at Georgia State University.
