Bruce Curtis teaches in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University. His current research includes the SSHRC-funded project, ‘Governing Lower Canada through Education,’ an historical sociology of literacy, schooling, and politics.

Paul Litt is cross-appointed to the Department of History and the School of Canadian Studies at Carleton University, where he teaches courses in Canadian cultural nationalism, cultural policy, and public history.

Andrew Smith teaches history at Laurentian University. He completed his doctorate at the University of Western Ontario in 2005.
